Call for a life!
The BGS Association "For People" continues the "Call for Life" campaign.
We make the second call within the campaign for the Cocea twins, Darius and Daria:
Daria - spastic diplegia, strong myopia. Spastic diplegia is a paralysis of the lower limbs, a muscular hypertonia. Her muscles are constantly strained, which makes normal and easy movements for a man, such as walking, sitting, lifting, to be a fight against her own body.
Darius - flaccid paraplegia of unknown etiology. He has developed only about 15% of his leg muscles, a fact that makes it impossible for him to stand upright (standing) without that special orthosis that supports what his muscles cannot.
The BGS association "Pentru Oameni" helps Daria and Darius with the amount of 10,000 euros. Travel costs for treatments and interventions in the following period will exceed 40,000 euros.
