DOMESTIC TRANSPORT BY ROAD

Intended for the patients who require medical transport within the country, under the close observation of specialized physicians, thus avoiding any potential risks of a transport made on one’s own account. The transport is made in optimum conditions in order to ensure the patients’ comfort, care and safety, which are necessary during their travel.

Types of transport:

1. Assisted transport - emergency type - this service is available for the patients who require the administration of treatment during the transport or whose condition requires constant supervision. Assisted transport is conducted with a fully equipped ambulance, the patient being accompanied by a specialized physician and/or medical nurse (depending on the recommendations).

2. Non-assisted transport - non-emergency - serves the patients whose condition does not require the assistance of medical staff, but whose travel requires special transportation conditions - stretcher, wheelchair, immobilization etc.

3. To / from the airport - the transport of the patient is made in special conditions, skipping the classical boarding procedures, having medical priority.

Note:

For the transport to/from the airport, it is necessary that the request is sent in writing at least 12 hours before the performance of transport.

Transports may be made for situations such as:

Transfer of the patient from a medical institution to another;
Releases from hospital - transport of the patient from the hospital to his/her domicile;
Transport of the patient from his/her domicile to various medical institutions, as needed;
Situations which require assistance for moving invalid persons, who require a stretcher or a wheelchair;
It is necessary that the patient goes to a hospital (clinic) because he/she shall be admitted there;
Patients who suffered a surgical intervention and require transport under optimum conditions for post-surgery investigations;
Patients who attend recovery programs (physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy), as a result of accidents;
>We may provide transport of patients from Bucharest or to Bucharest, from any place within the country.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT BY ROAD

A service developed for the situations in which the patients require medical transport on long and very long distances (outside the borders), for whom travelling by airplane is not recommended from a medical standpoint and who require medical supervision and care during transport.

Our experience helped us understand the needs of our patients, organize rapidly in order to respond in due time to the requests that we have, improve our services so as to create an environment as comfortable and safe as possible during transports. Transport is made with fully equipped ambulances in order to be able to control any situation which may endanger the patient’s life.

AIR TRANSPORT WITH MEDICAL ESCORT

This service may represent the best alternative for transporting patients on long distances, in a very short time and under the best conditions, if the health condition of the patient allows for air transport.

We may ensure the service of medical escort of the patients irrespective of the destination, according to the patient’s needs.

Modalities of transport

11. By a commercial airplane

The patient shall be accompanied by a medical team consisting of a physician and/or nurse (depending on the medical need of the patient):
It may be provided for the patients whose condition is stable, but who require medical supervision and a team prepared to give first aid.
The flight may be contracted directly by the patient or by our company.

2. With a medical airplane - intended exclusively for medical transport

It is provided for the patients with a sensitive medical condition, who require close supervision by the physicians and an environment fully equipped for any potential interventions in case of emergency.
