The BGS Association for Disasters and Disasters has been and is being asked to support with both natural and legal donors. In doing so, it collaborates with all divisions of the BGS Group, owning through its own specialized services a database of over 3,500 people, permanently updated with blood donors from the employees of the entire BGS Group.

According to WHO (World Health Organization) rules, haemorrhage is defined by the loss of a significant amount of blood, over 500 ml, where blood transfusion is required.

Causes of severe haemorrhages are extremely varied, among the most common being road accidents, work accidents, major surgery, blood disease or gastric disease.
