The great facilities of the BGS Ambulance makes the intervention time to be extremly short. So far the average of the response time is proven to be 5 minutes.
The facilities of the BGS Ambulance are:
- 8 A1 Ambulances (for medical interventions and medical transport), having a doctor and an ambulance driver.
- 6 ambulances B1/B2 (2 ambulances are 4×4 vehicles), they have crews formed with doctor, nurse and ambulance driver (B1) or nurse and driver (B2), they are equipped with equipment for resuscitation;
- 14 C – ARTI Ambulances (resuscitation and intensive care Ambulance) – the best performing type of ambulance, with crew of doctors, nurses and ambulance driver, are equipped with equipment for resuscitation, intensive care, vital functions support for long distances; two of them are equipped with neonatology incubators to support the vital functions of newborn;
- 208 Auto Transporters dedicated and properly equipped to transport dialysis at a national level.
